This one-of-one extraordinary piece pays homage to the father of modern day UConn basketball. A highly visible piece of UConn Basketball history, this authentic Jim Calhoun Huskies of Honor sign once hung prominently inside Gampel Pavilion, home of the legendary UConn Huskies Men’s Basketball program. 

Measuring 5 feet in height and 4 feet wide, this metallic arena display sign was originally affixed to the interior wall of Gampel  as part of the venue’s Huskies of Honor recognition for legendary head coach, Jim Calhoun.

The piece is a UConn-authenticated original Huskies of Honor sign, as UConn updated all Huskies of Honor signs currently displayed for size and brand consistency. 

As most Huskies fans know, Jim Calhoun transformed UConn into one of the most successful programs in college basketball history. During his Hall of Fame coaching career with the Huskies, Calhoun led the program to three NCAA National Championships (1999, 2004, 2011) and produced numerous NBA players while cementing UConn’s place among the elite programs in the sport.

This large-format metallic sign carries the unmistakable presence of authentic arena décor and would make a stunning centerpiece display for a UConn fan cave, sports bar, or office wall.
