Women's Basketball Hallway Mural #3

This mural captures the modern era of UConn women’s basketball, highlighting the program’s continued dominance through the 2010s with a focus on star power, championship moments, and leadership.

At the top right of the mural is Breanna Stewart (#30), one of the most decorated players in college basketball history. She’s shown both in action and celebrating, anchoring the mural’s connection to UConn’s historic four consecutive national championships from 2013–2016, beginning with the 2013 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship. The “National Champs” imagery and ladder-cutting scene reinforce those title moments.

Surrounding her are other key figures from this dominant stretch:

Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis (#23), featured mid-celebration, one of the program’s all-time great shooters

Moriah Jefferson (#4), captured in an emotional, high-energy moment reflecting her impact as a floor leader

Stefanie Dolson (#31), featured in celebratory and sideline moments, embodying the team’s personality, leadership, and presence during the early part of this championship run

Kia Nurse (#11), shown in action, highlighting her role in extending UConn’s success into the late 2010s

Along the bottom, a full team photo grounds the mural, showing players and staff gathered together in celebration. Like the rest of the composition, it represents more than a single season—it reflects a sustained era of excellence and unity.
